Front Porch Roots
I was raised on front-porch evenings — where time slowed, cornbread cooled on the counter, and the air smelled like home. I have fond memories of front porch swings and shelling peas with my Grandma. And somewhere between those southern roots and the island dreams that always called to me, Coconuts & Cornbread was born.
Island Soul
You could say I’m the “cornbread” and Rick is the “coconut”. My Southern upbringing and Rick being raised in a city - even though we were both from Florida - created the perfect balance. For a long time, I tried to fit into places I felt I didn’t quite belong, until I met someone who loved every part of who I am. Even my Alabama “cornbread” accent.

Our brand represents embracing your authenticity. To always be you. And we built this brand all while planning our wedding! Our candles blend two worlds we love — front-porch comfort and island escape — creating scents that feel both nostalgic and adventurous. Familiar and freeing.

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches with our premium coconut and beeswax blend for a smooth, even burn and unforgettable fragrance throw.
Beeswax adds natural richness and a slow, steady glow that complements our coconut base — like the sweet honey on your cornbread or the warmth of the setting island sun over the horizon.
More than anything, our candles are reminders to rest, to remember, to desire, and to be EXACTLY who you are.
